C&O products are made with only natural and organic ingredients and are formulated to be gentle. That said, everyone's skin is unique — we recommend patch testing on the inner arm for 24 hours before full use, especially if you're sensitive to essential oils.
Your C&O products are best stored at room temperature in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight. Excessive heat and light can degrade the natural ingredients. Since our tallow-based products are preservative-free, it's important to keep them dry. Avoid introducing water into the containers, as moisture can encourage bacterial growth and reduce the product's effectiveness and shelf life.
Grass-fed tallow is a rendered fat (Suet) that comes exclusively from cattle raised on a natural diet of grass their entire lives. These cattle are never given antibiotics, or growth hormones. This traditional, time-honored approach to raising cattle has a positive impact on the environment, the animals, and the quality of the tallow itself. The quality of the tallow will determine the quality of your skincare products.
